Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said “Have mercy on those on the earth, and the One in heaven will have mercy on you
[Tirmidhi]
Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) has clearly differentiated between the sajdah of men and women.
Yazid bin Abi Habib (radiyallaahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) once passed by two women who were performing salaat. He said: “When you make sajdah, attach your body to the ground, for indeed, women are not like men in this matter”.
(Maraseel of Abi Dawood, pg 118, #87, Muassasah Al-Risalah)
(The narrators in the above Hadith are reliable and not rejected-I’laau Al-Sunan, vol 3, pg 26, Idara Al-Quran)
Allah rewards the love that a husband has for his wife. Hadith tells us that the best among the believers is he who is good to his wife. It is also written that if a husband and wife look at each other and smile, then Allah looks at both of them and smiles in His everlasting mercy.
Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad
Prophet Muhammad (Salalaho alehe wasalam) said : Any person who calls his brother: O Unbeliever! (then the truth of this label) would return to one of them. If it is true, (then it is) as he asserted, (but if it is not true), then it returns to him (and thus the person who made the accusation is an Unbeliever).
[Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0117:]
After the hijrah when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Madinah, he found that the Jews of Madinah also used to observe this day with fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked them the reason of their fasting on this day. They said, “This is a blessed day. On this day Allah saved the Children of Israel from their enemy (in Egypt) and so Prophet Musa fasted on this day giving thanks to Allah.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “We have more claim to Musa than you.” He fasted on that day and commanded Muslims to fast on this day.
(Al-Bukhari, hadith 1865)
A Momin dislikes finding faults, shortcomings, and weaknesses in others. He is neither curious about them, nor he is eager to publicize them. It is just against his very nature. Sahl bin Abdullah Tustari says that the Paradise is referring to people whose hearts are oblivious of every thing except Allah’s remembrance.
The Believers, in their mutual love, mercy and compassion, are like one body: if one organ complained, the rest of the body develops a fever.
Bukhari & Muslim
‘Abdullah bin Shikh-kheer Radiyallahu ‘Anhu says: “I attended the noble assembly of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam. He was performing salaah. Because of his crying, such sound emmitted from his chest, like that of a boiling pot”.
Sunan al-Tirmidhi
Prophet (S.A.W.) Said, “If anyone recites surat al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine brightly for him till the next Friday.
